As a little girl, I was captivated by the movie: The Wizard of Oz...that brilliant children's story just packed to overflowing with grownup metaphor.
At the time, I related to the wicked witch of the west as a version of my mother; she had a fiery temper, passionate nature and sometimes out of control bossiness. She was fearsome, so I found safety by quieting my own expression and being a dutiful daughter.
Ah...but Glinda, the good witch, was my idol! I wanted to have a magic wand and make everything right and everyone happy! That desire followed me into adulthood in the form of an imaginary business I called: Where Dreams Come True Services.
Another metaphor from the film referred to the self doubt exhibited by Dorothy's friends: the scarecrow wanted a brain, the lion wanted courage and the tin man, a heart.
And what did they discover? Out of the expression of their love for Dorothy, they already were smart, courageous and loving.
So I ask you...What is growing on YOUR doubt farm? What erroneous belief have you been cultivating and how is that harvest coming? Probably not too well. There is another way....

What feeling, what truth, what creative form, what joy? This is your clue to what is next and your cue to taking the first step...however small and tentative, however big and bold.
I invite you to walk through the Possibility Portal... let your Soul burst forth in new creative ways. Step through the portal and out of your comfort zone...stretch to heal, stretch to reveal, stretch to shine your Truth and your very own quirky Goodness!
